We have been chosen for a reimagining public safety minigrant!
Titled “Equity GAP“, project activities include:
- Sex Trafficking Outreach – Organizing neighborhood education and discussion, leading into an information campaign towards people who have been trafficked for sex.
- Mobility Justice – Working with Cap Metro and private partners for safe bus stops at Georgian/Powell and other locations in our neighborhoods.
- Self-Defense Classes – Coordinating with Navarro HS students in their request for self-defense for PE credit.
- Rideshare Vouchers – Safe transportation for Navarro GPA parenting students.
- Sex Worker Group – Preparing for city Office of Violence Prevention activities on violence and harm related to sex work.
