DRAFT minutes special electronic meetings May-June 2018 (Austin Suites)

[June 26 update: The Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend the FLUM change. You can watch the video. The City Council hearing is scheduled for August 9, no earlier than 2pm, at City Hall.]

The neighborhood team held two special electronic meetings relating to the Austin Suites neighborhood plan amendment application, to change the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) for 8300 N IH-35 from Commercial to Mixed Use.

Each meeting was announced by email. Ballots were delivered by email, hand, and postal mail to all voting members. Votes were accepted by email, voice, text, and hand delivery. Thanks everyone for your participation!

June 20-24 Vote tally to SUPPORT the change to Mixed Use 12-2-0 (Modified tenant relocation, $10,000 for transportation safety, no affordability) Complete ballot

May 25-31 Vote tally to SUPPORT the change to Mixed Use 14-0-2 (Modified tenant relocation, $50,000 for transportation safety, 20 units affordable at 60% MFI) Complete ballot
