Soil Kitchen

Each year, the City offers free soil testing to check for heavy metals like lead and for nutrients that garden fruits and vegetables need. Good news! Our soil is safe and normal.

Here’s the Soil Kitchen results for our area. Thank you to Grace, LisaH, and Yeriel for making sure samples from our parks and public lands were included. Here’s complete information about the program and what the result numbers mean.

Brownie Park neighbors have been working to keep a pile of free mulch available at the park. If you have a truck and would like to help, let us know.
