Barrington Tree Planting / Plantación de Arboles

Volunteers spent a beautiful Saturday morning planting 80 trees around the Barrington playscapes, exercise equipment, and soccer field.
Los voluntarios pasaron una hermosa mañana de sábado plantar 80 árboles alrededor del patio de recreo y el campo de fútbol de Barrington.

20151205_112539 teachersThe trees will be watered for two years to be sure they are well-established. Then these native Texas species will provide the school and neighborhood with shade, oxygen, wildlife habitat, and pecans for decades to come.

Barrington is a shared City of Austin park and Austin ISD elementary school. Thanks to all the staff who worked together to make the planting happen.
Barrington parque y escuela primaria es compartida entre la ciudad de Austin y el Austin ISD. Gracias a todo el personal que trabajaron juntos para realizar la plantación.
