New Georgian Acres Park! / Parque nuevo en Georgian Acres

The Austin City Council has approved the purchase of 5 acres of land at 500 E Powell, for development as a new park. The purchase is funded with park land dedication fees and the 2012 bond issue.

El Consejo Municipal de Austin ha aprobado la compra de 5 hectáreas de terreno en 500 E Powell, para el desarrollo como un nuevo parque. La compra se financia con cuotas de dedicación de tierras del parque y la edición 2012 de bonos.

The neighborhood team is planning a celebration picnic for the fall. Contact Chair Julia Foree if you’d like to be involved.
