E Lola community garden

Future home of the E Lola community garden. (Don’t worry, there will be space reserved for these wildflowers and other native plants)

Neighbors have been gardening and maintaining this two-acre site for several years. We’re finally very close to making it an official community garden, with support of the City of Austin and Central Health.

Get in touch if you’d like to help with the organizing, or just jump in and grow something. Folks from the neighborhood will be checking out other community gardens Saturday, Apr 28, then we’ll have another work day and organizing meeting May 5.
