Tree planting and litter cleanup Nov 19

The eight hardy native Texas trees include desert willow, live oak, mexican white oak, bur oak, and cedar elm.

Thanks to everyone helping to make our neighborhood better:
TreeFolks – trees and educational materials
Keep Austin Beautiful – tools and cleanup supplies
Gethsemane Lutheran Church – water
Patti R – locally-grown mulch
City of Austin Public Works – site selection

Recommendation 17: Sponsor periodic neighborhood-wide cleanups.
Recommendation 38: Encourage the planting of hardy, native trees and
plants that require less water.
